Morning Mist

                                        Today I started
                                       loving you again
                                       when you wrapped me
                                       in your arms
                                       with the warmth
                                       of the morning sun
                                       and kissed me to awake
                                       beginning our day
                                       with your warmth
                                       inducing the morning mist.

                                        My Heart,

                            Here it is another morning and I'm taken into
                            another world again.  Your world that you
                            keep for only us.

                            With all my problems facing you if we were to
                            have a relationship, and all the years we both
                            spent alone bearing down on us, what kind of
                            future would we have together?  With the odds
                            against us, it didn't look favorable.

                            But your stayed right by me.  You were always
                            there.  And then one day you came to me with
                            "Hell, let's risk it anyway!" look in your eyes,
                            the same look I see each sunrise when you kiss
                            me into morning as we greet the new day.

                            It took me a long time to realize what your
                            secret was, how you take me into your world
                            and keep me so warm and safe.  It's that look
                            that took me there and tells me that you will
                            never leave.  And it amazes me how everyday
                            I fall in love with you all over again.
